Movement And Mobility Are The Shit

Anybody think movement isn’t essential? Anybody think mobility isn’t essential? Anyone think it doesn’t transfer into real life. I sure hope not. Movement and mobility are essential to everyone’s life. I don’t know about you, but I want to be able to move pain free when I’m 80 or 90. Start watching people. Notice how a lot of them are overweight and can barely walk without a limp or moving from side to side while they walk, or can hardly breathe. They might not even be overweight, they might be “skinny.” They might not be old, they might be pretty damn young. Watch the posture too. Hunched shoulders and pretty much the whole body out of alignment. It is truly sad and should not be that way. The social media and gaming generation is here.

For the past three or so months I have been getting up five minutes earlier and doing a five minute flow (Thanks Max Shank). It is just taking five minutes and moving. No set reps, no set schedule, just move, just flow. I have noticed a huge difference in my body and just how much easier it is to move. I think everyone should do this. Consistency matters. Try it for a month and see if you notice a difference.

Look at my mentor and friend, Keira Newton.

The Queen of movement and mobility. She is amazing. The bottom pic shows the hard work she has put in to become Gumby. The top pic she posted recently of her going under a barbed wire fence, proves that movement and mobility are the shit. Get Some!
